Biography
Dr. Dalten Fox is Assistant Professor of Public Administration in the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice. He earned his BA in Political Science from Colorado State University and both his MPA and PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Boise State University. At Boise State, he served as a research associate with the Center for Advanced Energy Studies' Energy Policy Institute, the Boise State School of Public Service, and the Idaho Policy Institute. During his doctoral studies, he was also selected for the American Society for Public Administration鈥檚 competitive Founders鈥 Fellowship.
Dr. Fox鈥檚 research focuses on rhetoric, narrative, social movements, and citizen roles in environmental and social policy contexts. His work appears in Society & Natural Resources, State and Local Government Review, Social Science Quarterly, and Energy Research & Social Science, among others.
He primarily teaches in the Master of Public Administration program, while also offering courses in the undergraduate political science curriculum and the Environment and Society PhD program in the Stokes School of Marine and Environmental Sciences. His teaching interests include research methods and design, environmental politics and law, collaborative governance, and Social Construction Theory.
Dr. Fox represents the College of Arts and Sciences on the 麻豆相关报道 Faculty Senate and serves on its Committee on Sustainability and Environmental Quality.
