Maegan is originally from Florence, Alabama. She moved to Mobile to go to South, where
she received a bachelor's in Psychology and a master's in Educational Leadership for
Higher Education Administration. During her time as an undergraduate, she worked as
a Southbound Orientation Leader, where her love for working with students began. She
also met her husband right here on campus! In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafting,
and spending time with her friends, her husband, her dog (Bruce), and her cat (Nala).
Her favorite thing about working with students is learning what makes each student
unique, both personally and academically!

I obtained both my bachelor's and master's in History from the University of South
Alabama! I love working with students because all educational journeys are different.
Helping someone to find their passion is incredibly fulfilling and exciting! One fun
fact about me is that I am a huge road trip fan and have driven to 34 different states!

and helping them explore the wide range of opportunities South has to offer. Outside

I earned my undergraduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University
of Alabama. While I haven’t started graduate school yet, I’m planning to pursue a
Master’s in Public Administration in the near future. What I love most about working
with students is helping them find direction, stay motivated, and realize their potential,
especially when they’re navigating challenging or uncertain times. Fun Fact: During
my time with the Albuquerque Police Department, I assisted in the recovery of over
25 stolen vehicles between January and May of 2025.
