Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE)
The principal responsibility of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) is to ensure that the Â鶹Ïà¹Ø±¨µÀ meets expectations to maintain its accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). As part of that responsibility, OIE focuses its resources on:
- University Planning and Assessment
- Assessment of Academic Programs
- Assessment of General Education
- Assessment of Administration and Academic & Student Support Services
- Substantive Change Policy and Program Implementation
- Leadership of Academic Enhancement and the University’s LevelUP Quality Enhancement Plan
- Compliance with federal regulations for distance education and the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA)
- Compliance with documentation of Student Complaints
- Campus representation and communication-related to the
- University Surveys and Student Perceptions of Instruction
- Oversight of the Qualtrics site license and support for community users
- Support and consultation for survey development, strategic planning, and program or classroom assessment
In addition, this office provides leadership for the following University Committees:
- Academic Calendar
- General Education
- University Assessment Advisory Committee, Student Learning Outcomes
- University Assessment Advisory Committee, Academic and Student Support Services
- Institutional Planning and Assessment Committee
